How i ended up studying social work

hello!

I had no idea what to study, my plan was to take a gap year and then think about what to do but in the psu I did better than expected so in a rush I decide to study. Since a little kid, I wanted to study to be a teacher but over the years the decision was changing, first, because I don’t have so much patience so I thought that is gonna be hard, also I have problems talking in front of so many people so I was very afraid about that. 

Over high school, I was searching for a career that I would like, something similar to a teacher, something social, and in some way that requires helping other people. 

One day, talking to my mom she said that I should search about social work and see if I like that. At first, I really like the things that I read about the career but again I was afraid thinking maybe is not what I wanted and I decide to continue searching but I didn’t like any others, so I left it all to fate and in my first option I wrote Social Work and in the second one I wrote Pedagogy and here I am! :)
